FC Wisconsin Nationals would like to take this opportunity to announce its newest coach to its staff.  As of February 12th, Kevin Ferron will join the FC Wisconsin coaching ranks.  Kevin returns to his childhood club and the FC Family, this time as a coach.  Kevin played for FC for 6 years and then went on to play Division I soccer at UWM.  While at UWM Ferron played all four years having started in 18 games and playing in 50 games.

“Anytime we can have our FC Family come back to the coaching ranks is exciting. Kevin was a speedy, shifty, dynamic player with the ability to beat players one on one and set his teammates up.   A very unselfish player, which makes him a great fit for our Collaborative Coaching model at FC Wisconsin.  He is a team player and joins an already amazing staff.  We can’t wait to see his immediate impact on all the players and the club.”  Said Co-DOC Billy Solberg.

Kevin will be able to impact all players on all levels at FC Wisconsin helping coach and impact each team from Jr Academy through the U18’s.  His main focus and goals will be with the U11-U14 teams as well as helping to build our Jr Academy program, however he will definitely add and help with the older aged players as well.

“I am extremely excited to come back to the club that helped shape my playing career and that I have learned so much from- As a player and person.  This is a great opportunity for me to give back to the club in any way I can, through impacting and developing great players in a positive way.  This is a very exciting time for me.  Being able to work with all the professional coaches, help the players improve every day, and better my coaching career, all at my former club. This has always been a dream and vision of mine.  I can’t wait to get started” said Ferron.

Co-Doc Ben Shepherd remembers coaching Ferron while Shepherd was coaching at UWM, “Kevin always had an excellent work ethic and good tactical awareness and was a pleasure to coach during my time at UWM. His drive, determination, and all round knowledge of the game will make him a great addition to our coaching staff and will really help enhance our players development at all ages.”

Please say hello and welcome Kevin to the coaching staff of his FC Family.
